Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

QRKEY is operated by 28 Digital Group Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales, trading as QRKEY. We provide dynamic QR code stickers and redirect services for UK estate agents. For any privacy-related query, contact us at support@qrkey.co.uk.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, agency name, email address, phone number and password when you create an account.
  • Listing data: property addresses, redirect URLs and QR code identifiers you add to your account.
  • Scan data: when someone scans a QRKEY sticker we record the timestamp, approximate location (city level), device type and referrer. We do not collect names or contact details of viewers.
  • Billing data: billing address and payment metadata. Card details are handled directly by our payment processor and never stored on our servers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to operate the QRKEY service, redirect scans to your chosen destination, provide scan analytics, take payment, respond to support requests, and keep the platform secure. Our lawful bases are contract performance, legitimate interests (running and improving the service) and, where required, consent.

4. Sharing your data

We share data only with trusted processors who help us run QRKEY: cloud hosting, database, email delivery and payment providers. We do not sell your data. We may disclose data where required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep account and listing data for as long as your account is active. Scan analytics are retained for up to 24 months. Billing records are kept for 7 years to meet UK accounting obligations.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to or restrict our processing. To exercise any of these rights email support@qrkey.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service (sign-in, security) and basic analytics to understand how QRKEY is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. International transfers

Our infrastructure is hosted within the UK and EU where possible. Where data is transferred outside the UK we rely on UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via the QRKEY dashboard.
